Following a previous audit of their salary structure, this insurance company asked us to assist them in the implementation of their new performance bonus system.
In close collaboration with the steering committee, we analyzed the main business challenges for the next 5 years and the strategy put in place to face them. We then determined the main principles of a new salary policy that would contribute to these strategic objectives.
We then reviewed current practices and trends in terms of annual base salary and variable compensation, in order to determine the most appropriate system for this organization. We then defined a target bonus system with its calculation rules, performance measures, individual vs. team proportions, and payout curves.
We finished this project with cost simulations, the comparison of old vs. new system for each employee, and finally the financing method. To ensure that employees have all the tools they need to achieve their performance, we also designed and delivered a series of workshops open to all employees on the topic: “How to give and receive feedback”.
